As a prospective member, we would like to thank you for your interest in joining an organization that provides a vital service to your community. Making a commitment to serve as a Volunteer Firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician is a serious decision, and we ask that you take the time to read our detailed membership information and get the basic facts about being a volunteer member. While this will not answer all possible questions about membership, it will provide you with some basic facts about the most important areas.

Join Church Hill Volunteers

Joining the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Department doesn’t necessarily mean having to serve as a firefighter. We are currently accepting applications for all positions in the department. These include FirefightersEmergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), Fire Apparatus DriversAdministrative Members, and Junior Members.

CHVFD offers many very important responsibilities for all of our members. A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to be able to effectively protect and serve the community. Fundraisers, public safety education, and simple maintenance and upkeep of the fire apparatus and property are all everyday tasks that we must perform in order to be ready at a moment’s notice in case of an emergency.
