CHVFD: Committed to Excellence, Serving with Pride

The Church Hill Volunteer Fire Department is one of nine volunteer fire departments in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. Station 5, located at 316 Main Street houses nine pieces of apparatus that are staffed by a 100 percent volunteer force, providing Fire, Rescue & Emergency Medical Services.

We meet as a whole every 1st and 3rd Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. for our business meetings, and advance our knowledge through company-level drills every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m.

Mission Statement

The Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company protects lives and property through the aggressive delivery of Safety Education, Fire Prevention, Disaster Management, Firefighting, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services by providing a highly trained and well-equipped team of Professional Volunteer Firefighters.
