Your support of the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company is crucial to us fulfilling our mission of preserving lives and property in and around Church Hill. Without your monetary donations, we would not be able to provide the great service, using the most state-of-the-art equipment, to mitigate emergencies impacting your neighbors.
Your donations are used for the general operations of the Fire Company and pay for such items as our new fire station, firefighting turnout gear, vehicles, medical supplies, vehicle maintenance, insurance and a host of other items. The CHVFD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your tax-deductible donation allows our more than 40 volunteer members to perform their life-saving mission.
There are several ways that you can help support our mission.
Know that the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company will never solicit donations over the phone. Occasionally, the Fire Company or Ladies Auxiliary will solicit a third-party vendor for a specific fundraiser (family photos, etc.) This information will be posted on our website.

The Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company conducts an annual fund drive each year via mail, usually in the Spring. Our fund drive letters are sent only to residents of our primary or “first-due” coverage area. We determine this by your physical address and not your zip code. Donations may be made by check and mailed.

The members of the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company maintain our life-saving skills by performing training scenarios and attending classroom training sessions. Auto extrication is one skill that we continuously train on. By donating your vehicle, you provide an invaluable hands-on training tool for our members to hone their skills. Your donation may be eligible for a tax deduction.
