Due to winter storm Jonas, our members staffed the fire station from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. We were accompanied by a two-person humvee crew from the Maryland National Guard. Space in the fire station was certainly at a premium. Crews took in two accidents, several service-type calls (stranded motorists, etc.) and 8 medical calls. Paramedic 500 was staffed for the entire event, proving to be a vital asset. Special thank you to the members and their families for your dedication to the department and the citizens of Queen Anne's County.
